I spend a lot of time writing, and am starting to realise how much it invisibly underpins everything else I do. I write a lot of books, plays, poems, letters and to-do lists. I am hoping to write a whole show in the coming year. For me, the art of writing is being brave enough to boil it down to the bones. It is in this economy, that the reader can connect and contemplate where you’re coming from. It also gives space for your audience to figure things out, or think about their own stuff.
