I am an artist based in Manchester, UK. I make performances and work on many projects.

I am an Artist in Residence at Salford Universtiy 2011/12 with the AA2A scheme and Project Manager for Storybox, a creative storytelling project for people with dementia and Alzheimer’s run by the Library Theatre and Paul Hamlyn Foundation. My solo show has been programmed at The Lowry for January 2013.

I am interested in human experience, the mundane and the miraculous. I try to strip information away to the barest truth, to the startling and underwhelming inside of things, often starting with the autobiographical. I am fascinated by the blurring of art and real life, and play as much as I can with that, subsequently my life appears in my work and I also take my work out to non-art spaces and connect with people from all walks of life. This investigation into reality and art also questions the nature of performance; and where the truth ‘lies’ in something that’s made up and performed. I am currently making my first full length solo performance that looks at the journeys we make, the moving and staying we do, where we’re going and if we ever get there.

I am always interested in hearing from you, so please get in touch.
